Your host, Kathy Combs, has an extensive background in tourism. For two decades she and her husband Ted previously owned and operated 3 successful bed and breakfast inns in the Bar Harbor/Acadia National Park area. Additionally, Kathy was a Chamber of Commerce president and Ted was an interpretive Park Ranger with Acadia Nation Park which contributed to their intimate knowledge of the area. In 2005 they turned their creative talents to this cottage hospitality business. Our team at Bar Harbor Cottages and Suites will be glad to assist in tailoring the perfect vacation for you.

• Cottages are one and two bedroom, fully equipped units accommodating 1 - 6 people.  
• All rates subject to 7% sales tax.
• Complimentary hospitality basket with coffee, tea, biscotti and chocolate upon arrival.
• Smoking is restricted to outdoor areas only.
• Optional breakfast plan at Café This Way, one of Bar Harbor’s premier restaurants
• Deposits must be received within seven days if sent by mail, or may be held by major credit card at the time of reservation.  A one-night deposit or one half of the total due is required, whichever is greater. We prefer the balance due be paid in cash or travelers checks.  Balance for all reservations is due upon arrival.
• Cancellations:  We never overbook our rooms and we hold your reservation as confirmed for the dates you have reserved.  For this reason, if you must leave earlier than your scheduled departure date, you will be charged for the entire reservation unless your cottage can be resold for the full amount.  Deposits will be gladly refunded, less a $25 processing fee per cottage booked, if cancellation is made up to 14 days prior to arrival date, or if space can be re-rented for the entire reservation period.

• Check-in is from 3:30 - 6:00 p.m.  Please call if you intend to arrive later than 6:00 p.m.
• Children Welcome -- Sorry, No Pets.
• Outdoor picnic tables for each cottage
• Rates vary according to date, accommodation and size of party
